About me

In the USA and in Europe, usually women and men (couples; perhaps wives and husbands) both work to support the relationship/family. So where's the dignity of women on websites (like this) who say that they're looking for support (based on their gender)? That can be ok... BUT that's only if you are also at least WILLING to work, or contribute to the relationship... in whatever way that is equitable and fair! Otherwise you're just acting like you're entitled to someone else's hard earned money, based on your gender. Where's the love in that? The love required... to have a truely loving relationship!

I am separated (for many years) and looking into getting a divorce from my Thai wife. Thai women are very good, but marriage there can be very much transactional, with her family counting on money for their daughter... not necessarily LOVE for the couple (when money is the cultural goal)!

So I'm simply looking for love (Thailand; Philippines, China... or most anywhere else). I'm not looking for someone who is depending on money that I for the most part don't have anyway. I do have a very small government pension; and I do work (now) as a writer (though I'm counting on selling that in the future; it maybe worth money... or maybe not! Will find out what my writing is worth, soon!). Sometimes I also work in Thailand or in South Korea. ANYWAY, that is where my day to day money comes from! Like the majority of people in this world, I'm resourceful, and can have coffee with a woman friend (when I have one) and hold hands... and all the romantic things couples do. And THAT is usually love! But a woman being dependent on me for money isn't about love!

I am here to meet a woman... to be best friends... perhaps lovers! Not necessarily marriage again! Marriage is possible... but not the intent! Love is! I am open to any situation that works!

I'm not a regular church goer! I'm quite spiritual though! I'm curious about our creative existence! I grew up going to a Catholic school. In college I took several philosophy courses. I've also studied Buddhism.
