About me
I’m a world traveler currently navigating the high seas of the maritime industry, where I work on ships and explore the ocean as a scuba diver.
My journey has also taken me from teaching English in Vietnam to exploring the treasures of the Middle East, where I dive into the kinds of writings that shaped books like the Bible. Sometimes in air-conditioned museums, sometimes crawling through caves like Indiana Jones. I love tracing the steps of the prophets of ancient Israel all the way to the historical Jesus, exploring where history sometimes seems to differ from the more commonly known versions of the stories.
My own faith is rooted in the oldest sections of the Bible, and I’m grateful to God everyday for each new journey.
But sometimes you just need to relax and unwind, especially with a good movie or Netflix series. I just finished watching the action/comedy series “Burn Notice” and am now diving into the "Star Trek" shows and movies for the first time.
